The Xiaomi president Lei Jun announced that they are going to launch their new flagship phone at CES in the next month. But he did not confirm the name of the new version. So we are wondering that the name might be Xiaomi Mi4s or it can be called Xiaomi Mi5. An image has been published on December 29^th (Monday) that discloses the look of the black version of Xiaomi Mi5.

The screen portrayed in the picture says that the screen is of 5.5 to 5.7 inches. So the screen is much larger than the Xiaomi Mi4. Mi4 came with a screen of 5 inches. This is the only difference between Xiaomi Mi4 and black version of Xiaomi Mi5 that we could figure out from the published photo. Earlier one more photo was published, but it was in white color. The other features that were shown in the white model are front facing camera, light sensor, side bezels that were very thin and a Mi logo. But the black version of Xiaomi Mi5 is looking a bit different as there is no sign of Mi logo on the phone.

The predictable features of Xiaomi Mi5 are a screen of 5.5 inch to 5.7 inch the resolution of which is 1440×2560, back camera with 20.7 MP, 3GB of RAM, 64 bit snapdragon 410 CPU and also we are expecting a limited-edition model that may come with sapphire screen. Earlier, it was said in a report that the number of Limited-edition production will be 50,000.

So we will be able to know from CES regarding the next flagship model in the next week as CES will be opened in January. The name could be Mi5 or Mi4s. We should wait till next week to get all the updates.
