How To Change Download Folder In Mozilla Firefox
Generally, default download folder for all browsers is on the system drive (usually in the «C» disk), in “Downloads” folder. The problem is that the folders may have different names and path.
First of all, go to the browser settings. To do this, click on the icon (in the form of three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner of your browser and select “Options” from the drop-down menu.
Then a new window will open, and you need to go to “General” tab. There is the configuration section “Downloads”. To specify a folder for downloads, you need to select “Save files to” and then click on the “Browse” button.
This will open another window where you need to select a folder on your computer where Mozilla Firefox will put the files you’ve downloaded.
Just select folder from your computer and confirm with “Select Folder”.
There is another useful option. If you want to choose the folder each time when you want to save the file, then select the option “Always ask me where to save files”. Before you save the file, you will be asked about the folder in which you want to put the file.
Select the option “Save file”, find the right folder and click on “Save”.
