How To Change Your Facebook Password

To change the password, follow these steps:

Step 1

The first step after a failed logging on Facebook is to select “Having trouble?” Link-which is located under the box for entering a password.

Step 2

On the next page, you need to enter some information about your profile, email, phone, username or full name. The simplest way is to enter the email that you use for your Facebook profile.

Step 3

After entering the email associated with your Facebook profile click on “Search” button to continue the process.

Step 4

In the next window, you will see the option to reset your password. Choose the second option “Email me a link to reset my password”, click on “Continue” and the verification code (required for password reset) will be sent to your email.

Step 5

Go to your email, and find the verification code. Enter the code in the field “Enter Security code” and click on “Continue”.

Step 6

Enter the new password in the box and click on “Continue” to end the procedure.

After a successful password change, select “Stay logged in” and click on “Continue”.

Then, you will have the access to your profile again.
