As we said, you will hardly see Huawei Ascend G630 users complain about the performance of this smartphone. What’s more, one of the usual complaints in the smartphone world is about the battery life and the users of G630 are pretty satisfied with it as well. However, after using any smartphone for a while, battery issues can occur, and there are several things you can do to improve the battery life.

The usual things you can do are: to lower the brightness level, to turn off Mobile Data, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use and turn on the Power saving mode. Also, you should disable bloat apps by going to Settings, tap on “All tab” and then tap on Manage Apps. Next, tap on All and find the apps you want to disable by tapping on the app and clicking on “Disable option”. You can also uninstall the apps you don’t need. Again, go to Settings > All tab > Manage Apps > Downloaded, tap on the app you wish to remove and click on Uninstall.

There is also “Protected Apps” option. Once you disabled bloat apps and uninstalled the once you don’t use, you can control the ones you regularly use. By choosing which apps are protected, it means you will choose the apps that will run in the background even when the screen is off. If you are having issues with the battery, then you should definitely make some adjustments in this department, and here is how you can do that.

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap on “All” tab
  • Tap on Power saving

  • Scroll down and tap on Protected apps

  • There, you can choose the apps that will keep running when the screen turns off

You will see which apps are power-intensive, so you should avoid selecting those as protected apps.
