  • Launch Terminal – Finder > Applications > Utilities, and then find Terminal and double click on it. You can also use the spotlight search – type Terminal, and when it shows up, just click on it.
  • The next thing you will have to do is copy the following:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES

killall Finder
