There was a leaked image of Huawei phone allegedly Huawei P9 with a rear dual camera system. The additional rumor said P9 will use a camera from Leica for a very good quality. This rumor was associated with the announcement delivered by Huawei and Leica at the photography CP+ exhibition in Japan. They announced that they will cooperate to create something new. That is how the rumor came that the upcoming Huawei flagship phone will use one of the camera technologies from Leica with a 12-megapixel camera resolution.
This rumor is strengthened with the teaser image posted by Huawei, related to an event in Berlin on March 9. As we know, Leica is a camera company from Germany. Many people were predicting Huawei P9 will be introduced in that event.
Huawei is believed to adopt a dual camera on P9 with some unique features. According to some rumors, this dual camera will work to regulate the photo focus and it can be removed after the photo has been taken. It’s a different dual camera technology than the one on LG G5, in which both lenses have a different angle of view. The first camera has a wider angle than the second one.
Huawei P3 is also mentioned to have a high spec as well as Kirin 950 processor combined with 3GB of RAM and 32Gb of storage. It will have a 5.2-inch display size with a full HD resolution. Huawei includes a 3,900 mAh battery capacity and USB type-C.
If this rumor is true that Huawei P9 will have lenses from Leica, it will become the first smartphone in the world which uses Leica sensor.
