Skype is a software that allows us to communicate with other Skype contacts when we are connected to the Internet. But the program isn’t limited to the conversation only between the two users. It is possible to organize so-called conference calls. With the help of this feature, a few people can participate in the conversation. It is possible to add 25 people to the group (24 + creator of the group). Without further ado, let’s see how to make a group call in Skype.

How To Make A Group Call In Skype

If you want to add the people to the group call, you will need to follow these instructions:

Open and log in to Skype.

In the top-left side of the Skype window, you will see “New” button located bellow your profile name. At the top of the new window, you will see the search box where you need to enter the name of the contact you want to add in the group.

Repeat the process for any contact you want to add, and after you are finished click on “Add” button.

After the group is created, you can change the name of the group by clicking on “Rename conversation”.

If you want to change the picture of the group created, click on “Settings” and you will see the new window. Click on “Change picture”, choose one from the computer and click on “Open” button.

There you should uncheck “Notify me when something new happens”, (if you don’t want to receive the notifications of the new conversations), and also “Make chat history available to everyone”.

After all these settings, you can make a group call.

Click on “Call” button and when users answer to the call, you can see their profile pictures on the screen and the buttons at the bottom. If you want to drop individual people from the call, click on the user’s picture and press the red end call button.
