Meet New Microsoft Browser Named Microsoft Edge

When it comes to browsers, Internet Explorer indeed was a popular browser, before Chrome, Mozilla, and others took its place. Users were not satisfied with the Explorer at all, which is why Microsoft decided to create another, better and stronger browser. What I have to mention is that the new browser is not the modification of the Internet Explore.
The company introduced their new browser to the public last January, and the project was named Spartan. Today Microsoft shared the name of the browser: “Microsoft Edge”. It will be the default browser for Windows 10, and it is designed to compete with the strongest ones, such as Google, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. All three are dominating the market at the moment when it comes to desktop computers and laptops.
We hope the Microsoft Edge will be available for iOS and Android platform. With Cortana integration, Microsoft hopes that their browser will become a No.1 option for more activities compared to other available browsers. As the Windows 8 was criticized, same as the Internet Explore, Microsoft has been working really hard to change the things users didn’t like about the OS and the browser, and I think they will present an excellent OS, along with the Microsoft Edge.
Today we announced the name of our new browser, Microsoft Edge. We chose the name Microsoft Edge as it reflects our commitment to developers to deliver a browser that lives at the edge of modern web standards and security. Microsoft Edge is a browser built for doing, with built-in note taking and sharing; a reading pane for no distractions; and integration with Cortana. We showcased how Microsoft Edge will offer developers better discoverability of their apps and our plans for future extensibility with JavaScript and HTML. You can see more about Microsoft Edge in this video.
