According to the second tweet from Steven Guggenheimer today, Microsoft Build 2016 tickets were sold out in just one minute. On the first tweet, he didn’t mention how many tickets were sold out and Microsoft promised will increase the capacity of participants. They will also stream the event if for those who cannot attend the event. Here is the statement from the Chief Evangelist of Developer Experience, Steven Guggenheimer.
Wow, Build soldout quickly this year. We are working on getting more capacity for next year and we will stream part of it online.

On the second tweet, Steven gave the certain minute, which shows the developers’ enthusiasm to the Build 2016 event. He compared it with the enthusiasm of the developers in last year, where the tickets were sold out in 20 minutes, while this year it only needs 1 minute.
Last year we sold out in 20 minutes and in 1 minute this year. Sorry for everyone can't attend in person. We stream on @ch9

For the developers who has not got the ticket yet, they can register as a waiting list, and will be told if there is an empty seat available. Although, the ticket is $100 more expensive than last year, it seems not a big deal for the developers.
Microsoft Build 2016 will be held from March 30 until April 1, at Moscone Center, San Fransisco and can be watched streaming via their official website. I will inform it to you later.
