LG officially introduces their flagship phone LG G5. This smartphone is claimed as the first modular smartphone in the world, which can give a unique experience. Although it has a unibody design, it allows the user to remove the battery by opening the bottom part of the device. With this modular system, we turn it into a digital camera or Hi-Fi Player by adding the accessories, like LG Cam and LG Hi-Fi Plus.

LG G5 is made of aluminum in its entire body, the material they didn’t use before. The finishing touch is great with 4 variant color options: silver, titan, gold, and pink. They also smart in hiding the antenna line on the back of its body, so that the LG G5 looks so clean. G5 adopts the latest technology for its camera, a dual camera that offers a wide viewing angle up to 135 degrees and the other interesting features. For the rear camera, it has 16 megapixel and 8 megapixels for the front facing camera.

A 5.3-inch display size with Quad HD resolution and 3D Arc Glass feature, which creates a curved display that makes it looks different with the 2.5D glass. The display also has an ‘Always-on Display’, which is claimed only uses a 0.8% of battery life per hour. Through this feature, the user can check the information of time, date, and some notification without the need to turn it.
Regarding the performance, this handset adopts a high-end processor, Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM. There is a microSD to support up to TB besides the 32GB of internal storage, which some have been used for the system and else. For OS, G5 uses the customized Android Marshmallow and 2,800mAh battery capacity. The latest technologies also came to this device, such as a fingerprint scanner on its back side and USB Type-C.

LG G5 is predicted will be priced for $599 and will be available in April. At MWC, LG also announced the supporting accessories for G5 i.e LG 360 VR headset, LG 360 Cam, LG Rolling Bot, LG Tone Platinum.
