How To Open Private Window In Opera Browser

If you want to open new private window in Opera, you can do it by clicking on the Menu button located in the upper left corner of the Opera window.

Then in the drop-down menu, select “New private window”. You can also open it by pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N.

After that, a new “Private window” will open and you can browse safely and secretly.

When you open “Private window” for the first time, you will see the information about the privacy browsing.

Features of “Private window”:

“Private window” differs from the standard by the icon in the new tab in the form of the padlock.

If you have a lot of private tabs opened, closing the Opera window will close only private windows, not the windows in the normal mode.

After you close the Private window in Opera from the computer, the following information will be automatically removed: browsing history, cache, cookies and usernames.

If you added the bookmark in Opera during the browsing in “Private window”, this bookmark will work also in the normal window later.

A closed “Private window” can’t be restored, because Opera will not retain any history of pages you visited. If you have downloaded some files you can see it in the “Download” section.
