Prisma had a great year. The application was launched in June, and recently it was honored as the app of the year by Google Play and App Store, which is a fantastic achievement. Soon after the launch, the app became a sensation among iOS and Android users. The app offers modern art filters and amazing photo effects. It also allows users to easily share their images on social networks.
Prisma is now rolling out a huge update that will add social features, Mashable reports. The app will have two new tabs, “Profile” and “Feed”. Thanks to the Profile tab, you can now follow other users, and others can follow you. The “Feed” tab will offer a list of the images that are trending. The image you share will be visible to those nearby, and whenever someone likes the image it will reach more people.
“A shared artwork can only be seen by people nearby. Every like spreads the post further increasing its range of appearing on people’s feed. Theoretically, a user can post a picture, get likes and watch his or her post spread and cover the whole world,” says Prisma.
The app will allow you to see images from users you follow and recent pics. By tapping on “Location”, you can see the photos taken near your current location. At the top of it all, the latest update doubles the resolution for photos. Prisma for iOS allows you to adjust aspect ratio and it comes with the full-camera mode.
