If you forgot your password, then you need to follow these instructions:
When failed to log in, click on “Problem signing in” at the bottom-left corner.
You will be redirected to the official website of Skype.
There you will need to enter the email address with which you registered your Skype profile and click on “Continue”.
Then you will receive an email from Skype with the instructions.
Click on “follow this link” and on the next page, you need to click on “Reset password”.
In the new page, that appears, enter a new password, repeat it and click on “Save”.
After that, you will see the new page, where you need to enter the new password and click on “Sign in”.
Sometimes, you must change your current password to protect yourself against the people who want to use your personal data.
It is recommended to choose the complex password that should be composed of many letters and numbers. If you have a more composite password, your profile will be much safer.
To change the existing password, go to “My account” in Skype official website.
In the new page, enter your old and new password and click on “Save” and you will be informed that your password has been changed.
