The ability to save your favorite websites on the Internet browser is called “bookmarks”. Internet Explorer, instead of the term “bookmark”, use a word “Favorites”. These are the pages visited frequently therefore, it is wise to group these websites into separate folders with different names, for example, work sport, music, and so on. How To Manage Favorites In Internet Explorer

If you don’t’ know how to save and organize favorites in Internet Explorer, just follow these instructions:

First you need to save the favorite website.

Start Internet Explorer on your computer. Open your favorite website and click on the white star in the top-right corner of the screen. Then save the website to favorites by clicking on “Add to favorites” button. Then you need to select the folder in which you want to save it from the drop-down menu and write the name for it.

To organize your favorites, click on the white star at the top-right of the Internet Explorer window. Next to “Add to favorites” option, click on a small arrow and open the drop-down menu. There you can see the option “Organize Favorites.” This will enable you to create categories according to your needs.

Click on “New Folder’ to create a folder for the category of the favorites.

Then, when you want to add a new website to the favorites and you want it to be placed in the desired category, click on a white star at the top-right corner, then click on “Add to favorites” to save it. Choose a category for your favorite from the drop-down menu. Click on “Add” button and your website will be saved.

If you want to move, rename or delete your favorites, you can do it by clicking on “Organize Favorites”. There you can move your favorites from one category to another, just click with the right mouse button on the desired favorite and drag it to another folder.

If you want to rename favorites, simple click on it and press the button “Rename”.
