How to Use Facebook Security Checkup Feature
It is all very simple, but most importantly it’s worth the effort. If you use many applications or you used to sign in to your account using the different computers, this feature is great for you.
To find and run this feature, follow these steps:
Login to your Facebook account.
Click on the drop-down menu next to the padlock icon at the top of the Facebook window.
In the menu click on “Help” and then open the link “Visit help center”.
In the new window that opens, click on “Security” on the left side of the screen, and in the next window, click on “Security tips”. Then you need to find the question “What’s Security Checkup and how do I start it? Open it and click on “Start Security Checkup”.
When you click on “Log Out of Unused Apps” you can see the active log-ins on those browsers and apps, which were not used in over a month. Scroll down and click “Log Out of all” and Facebook will remove all.
Then open “Get Login Alerts”. If you have not enabled these notifications, you can enable them using the Facebook application, email address or mobile phone number. Using alerts, you can easy find out if someone has the access to your account without your knowledge. Just put a check mark next to the both available options.
In the last section, Facebook provides some simple safety tips for your password. After you read all tips, you can create a new password by pressing “Change your password” button.
