InPrivate browsing mode is the best solution when you need to use the Edge browser on a shared device. If you don’t know how to activate it, just follow the instructions:
Open Edge browser.
At the top-right corner of the opened window, click on “More” button (icon in the form of three dots) and from the drop-down menu, select “New InPrivate window”.
Then a new browser window will appear and you will recognize it by the blue and white picture with InPrivate text in the top-left corner.
You can also have the normal window opened at the same time, so be careful which one you use.
You should know that the cookies and cache are stored temporarily, but during the time when InPrivate window is opened. After you close it, these data will be automatically deleted. The browsing history and passwords will not be saved after the end of InPrivate browsing session. Favorites can be saved during the private session and download history also.
Note! This mode cannot provide you the complete anonymity. The administrator of the computer or the internet provider can track your websites activities, and websites can obtain some data about you through your IP address.
